Final US PMI readings in line with expectations

  • Final S&P PMI U.S. reading (Composute): 50.2 vs. 50.1 forecast and 50.1 previously
  • Final S&P PMI US reading (Services): 50.1 vs. 50.2 forecasts and 50.2 previously

Standard&Poor's chief economist Williamson pointed out that the PMI data for September confirms a cooling of the US economy after a rebound in growth earlier this summer. Meanwhile, inflationary pressures in the services sector remain sticky.
