USD sees little reaction to US data pack

The number of Americans filling for unemployment benefits was  0.222 million in the week ended November 12, compared to 0.225 million reported in the previous week. Today’s reading came in below market expectations of 0.225 million. 

Continuing claims reading, which lags initial jobless claims data by one week, rose to 1,507 million from 1,493 million, while analysts expected an increase to 1.500 million. 

The Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index decreased to -19.40 in November from -8.7 in October and below market expectations of -6.2.

Housing starts for October came in at 1425k, compared to market estimates of 1410k. Building permits at 1526 k were  much higher than expected 1515k 

EURUSD saw a relatively small reaction to today’s data releases. The most popular currency pair continued to trade around 1.0335 level. Source: xStation5
