STC real shares are closed using the FIFO rule. FIFO is an abbreviation for First-In-First-Out. In the context of the financial market, FIFO is a rule regarding the order in which orders are executed by a broker.
According to the FIFO rule, the first order that is opened must be closed first, before closing subsequent positions that were opened later. This means that the Client cannot choose which specific positions he wants to close and which he wants to leave open.
To close a position according to the FIFO principle:
Open the Portfolio tab in the bottom menu
Then, select the "My transactions" section
Once you open a specific instrument, a field will appear below the chart, showing the total value of all shares/ETFs you hold for that instrument.
If you enter the number of units or the amount you wish to close into this field, the positions will be closed automatically according to the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle - starting with the oldest open position.
If you scroll further down, you will see a list of all individual positions opened for that instrument.

Closing a specific position
From the list of open positions, you can select the specific position you wish to close. Clicking on it will display the details of that position.
Next, click the "Close position" button located at the bottom of the screen. This will allow you to adjust the number of units you wish to close.
As a result, you can close the selected position either entirely or partially.
