A breeze of optimism?

Italy, which was the main epicenter of the coronavirus in Europe, today recorded the smallest number of new cases since March 4, namely 744. The number of deaths reached 179. Improvement can be also seen in New York, where number of daily deaths is decreasing and today it was 161. This is positive information for the markets. S&P 500 is trying to recover early losses and Nasdaq is already gaining 0.43%. Meanwhile, VIX contracts are their lowest levels since the beginning of March!
