Apple (AAPL.US) is now worth $2 trillion and become the most valuable company in the world. The iPhone maker hit the market after its stock price touched $467.77 on Wednesday, pushing its market cap higher than any other U.S. company in history.
Apple’s rise to the $2 trillion comes after hitting $1.5 trillion in June, and two years after topping $1 trillion for the first time.
In addition, it is worth noting that the S&P500 index has just hit new historical highs, thus the entire post-pandemic sell-off has been erased.
