The largest Faroe Islands’ salmon farmer Bakkafrost (BAKKA.NO) issued a second-quarter profit warning due to “weak salmon prices” and disease on its Scottish farms and freshwater sites. Mortality in the Scottish operations led to losses of almost €17 million.
