  • BoC Core CPI MoM: 0.1% vs 0.3% previously
  • Canadian PPI MoM: -0.4% vs -0.6% exp. and -1% previously
  • Canadian PPI y/y: -2.3% vs -2.7% previously
  • Canadian RMPI y/y: -4.2% vs -3.5% exp. and -2.5% previously

CAD gains after higher inflation reading, which may be a Bank of Canada 'higher for longer rates' policy signal.
