BREAKING: EURUSD gains after weak US ISM manufacturing data 📌

  • ISM Manufacturing Employment: actual 43.4; forecast 49.0; previous 49.3;
  • ISM Manufacturing New Orders Index: actual 47.4; forecast 49.0; previous 49.3;
  • ISM Manufacturing PMI: actual 46.8; forecast 48.8; previous 48.5;
  • ISM Manufacturing Prices: actual 52.9; forecast 51.9; previous 52.1;

In July, the U.S. manufacturing sector contracted for the fourth consecutive month and the 20th time in the past 21 months, with the Manufacturing PMI falling to 46.8 from June's 48.5. Key indices showed declines: New Orders Index dropped to 47.4, Production Index to 45.9, and Employment Index to 43.4. Supplier deliveries slowed, and raw materials inventories contracted while customer inventories remained too low. Prices increased, with the Prices Index at 52.9. Both exports and imports contracted, with indices at 49 and 48.6, respectively.
