  • Manufacturing. Actual: 48,5. Expected: 50.0. Previous: 50.2
  • Services. Actual: 55,1. Expected: 52.6. Previous: 53.6
  • - Composite PMI: 54.5 (Expected: 53.0; Previous 53.4)

Companies in the US registered a solid upturn in business activity during May, according to the latest flash data from S&P Global. Overall growth in output was the fastest for just over a year. The expansion was led by service providers, however, as manufacturers recorded only a slight rise in production. Overall Composite index comes above expectations. Source: S&P Global
