Gfk consumer sentiments from Germany (February): -24,6 vs -21,6 exp. after 22,4 previously
Data from the German Gfk, which refers to the results of consumer surveys, did not show the expected recovery and did not follow the slightly higher than expected report of business and economic expectations of the Ifo institute. They also show that the expected 'rebound' of the European economy may still prove fragile and hard to sustain over the long term.
