The S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price Index reported no annual change in home prices in June, an improvement from a -0.4% decrease in May. The 10-City and 20-City Composites also showed less severe declines compared to the previous month. Chicago, Cleveland, and New York led the year-over-year gains among the 20 cities, with increases of 4.2%, 4.1%, and 3.4% respectively. Ten cities reported lower prices and ten reported higher prices compared to the year ending in May 2023, while 13 cities showed price acceleration month-over-month.
