Jobless claims come out at 213,000, a slight increase over last week, but better than expectations indicating 218,000. As you can see, Americans are getting back to work all the time, as evidenced by the low unemployment numbers. At the same time, however, yesterday's Fed forecasts show that the unemployment rate is expected to rise as high as 4.4% next year, indicating that sooner or later we will see a rebound in these figures.
