BREAKING: Mixed PMI data form Europe

Geramany, France and  Italy released their PMI Services readings just a moment ago - earlier the data was released by Spain. Data is rather mixed as PMIs readings from Germany and Italy came in above expectations, while data from Spain disappointed. Reading from France came in line with expectations. Meanwhile Eurozone September final services PMI came in above analysts' estimates.
 
  • Spain Markit Services PMI (SEP): 42.4 vs Expected: 46.4 Previous: 47.7
  • Italy Markit Services PMI (SEP): 48.8 vs Expected: 46.6 Previous: 47.1
  • France Markit Services PMI Final (SEP): 47.5 vs Expected: 47.5 Previous: 51.5
  • Germany Markit Services PMI Final (SEP): 50.6 vs Expected: 49.1 Previous: 52.5
  • Eurozone September final services PMI: 48.0 vs 47.6 prelim
EURUSD bounced off the 1.1720 support after today's data releases and is currently testing resistance at 1.1736 which is additionally strengthened by 50 SMA (green line). Source:xStation5
