BREAKING: Natural gas storage above forecasts

EIA Natural Gas Change BCF Actual -37B (Forecast -42B, Previous -36B)

US Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimated that working gas in storage was 2,259 billion cubic feet (Bcf). This figure marks a net decrease of 37 Bcf from the previous week. Compared to the same period last year, current stocks are 422 Bcf higher, and they are 633 Bcf above the five-year average of 1,626 Bcf. The total working gas amount of 2,259 Bcf is now positioned above the five-year historical range.
