Breaking news: China doubts long-term trade deal possible with Trump

Bloomberg reports that Chinese officials doubt a long-term trade agreement with Donald Trump is possible. This casts a long shadow even on a short-term trade deal especially after a meeting between the US and China in Chile was cancelled. This report puts downward pressure on US bond yields and sends a warning signal to equity investors too. The USDJPY is dipping following the announcement as well.
