BREAKING: Platinum soars by over 2%

Record levels on Wall Street do not stop precious metals, typical safe haven assets, from forging a rally on their own. Another day of bond price gains sees all precious metals making strong gains. Platinum prices soar by over 2% for the second straight day. The platinum market was left a bit behind as gold prices are already testing 7 year highs. Precious metal traders should look for more clues from numerous Fed speakers today and the FOMC minutes release (7pm GMT).
