Markets remain in turmoil as the virus spread doesn’t leave breathing space for the bulls. In our special report released yesterday we highlighted that investors will now focus on new cases outside of China and the number keeps growing. Only yesterday there were record 569 of confirmed new cases in record 26 countries (again, not including China) but these records are set to be broken. We already know about 505 new cases in Korea, 35 in Japan (where are schools will be closed), 17 in Kuwait and 10 in Germany today. Such news flow derails any recovery attempt – US100 is hanging just above the critical 8700 support.
