The RIA agency said that Transneft has stopped exporting crude oil to Central European countries via the Druzhba branch of the oil pipeline that runs through Ukraine. Russia points out that this is due to problems with transit payments. Transneft was supposed to pay the transit fee, but the payment was refunded due to sanctions. Transneft reports that oil transport via the northern oil pipeline continues unchanged.
Of course, this can be associated with some problems, but it cannot be denied that this is another such strange incident. After this news, the price of oil rose by 2%, which translates into less than $ 2 per barrel.
