BREAKING: Stocks jump after China says Beijing outbreak under control

European stock market indices and Wall Street futures jumped during a press conference of Chinese CDC officials. Wu Zunyou, virus expert from China CDC, said that the new coronavirus outbreak in Beijing is now under control. DE30 and US500 jumped around 0.6% on the news. However, it is unknown whether Beijing will withdraw from the decision to close schools or cancel flights.
