US new home sales data for June was released at 3:00 pm BST. Report was expected to show a sales increasing 3.4% MoM, from 619 thousand in May to 641 thousand in June. However, actual report turned out to be a disappointment, with new home sales actually dropping 0.6% MoM in June to 617 thousand.
