News:

The shares of Siemens Energy (ENR.DE) are gaining more than 2.8 per cent during today's session following the publication of good quarterly results and the raising of full-year forecasts. Investors were particularly pleased by the increase in orders, which also supports the company's business sentiment for the future. In the earnings note, we can read that the increase in orders confirms Siemens' good positioning towards energy transition technologies. What should investors look out for in the future? First and foremost, how will the economic situation in the wind power sector, which is currently the main cornerstone of achieving a profitable energy leader, continue to evolve.

The sell-offs are prolonging the shares of Bayer (BAYN.DE). Analysts at Berenberg communicate that in view of weak quarterly results and sluggish annual forecasts, the company is expected to issue a second-half earnings warning due to falling gilofasate prices and higher pharmaceutical sector costs.
