DE30 soars more than 2%

During Tuesday's session we can observe positive sentiment in the equity markets. The German index DE30 rose by almost 2.5%, and similar increases are also observed on the French FRA40 and London's UK100. After breaking above the consolidation zone, DE30 upward movement accelerated and index managed to overcome the psychological level of 13,000 pts. The closest resistance is located at 13,080 pts, and breaking that level will open the way towards the recent highs at 13,290 pts. It is also worth noting that the US500 index is approaching historical peaks, it is only 30 points short to wipe out all the declines caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

On the other hand, gold and silver lose due to the prevailing risk on sentiment. Gold is plunging more than 2%, the price of this precious metal has shifted back below the psychological level of $ 2,000 and continues to decline. Silver is trading over 4% below yesterday's closing level.
