Economic calendar: API oil report, central bankers' speeches

European index futures point to a lower opening of the cash session on the Old Continent today. This comes after a downbeat trading during the Asia-Pacific session with indices from the region dropping. Day ahead looks calm in terms of data releases. There are some second-tier releases from Europe and the United States scheduled as well as weekly API report on oil inventories. A number of Fed and ECB members will deliver speeches today and it can contribute to FX volatility. Uber Technologies and Robinhood Markets can be found among today's earnings reporters.

10:00 am GMT - Euro area, PPI inflation for September. Expected: -12.5% YoY. Previous: -11.5% YoY

1:30 pm GMT - US, trade balance for September. Expected: -$60.0 billion. Previous: -$58.3 billion

9:40 pm GMT - API report on US oil inventories. Expected: -$0.5 billion. Previous: +$1.35 billion
