Economic Calendar: banker speeches in focus ๐Ÿ“ƒ

Today's macroeconomic calendar holds several interesting publications and speeches from central bankers, including the Fed, SNB, and ECB.

In the first part of the day, market attention will primarily be focused on the release of PMI reports for services from EU member countries. Then, at 09:00 AM BST, the PMI report for the entire Eurozone will be published. Estimates point to a reading of 52.9 points compared to 51.5 in March. Later in the day, investor attention will shift towards speeches from central bankers, including Barkin and Williams from the Fed, and Lagarde from the ECB.

09:00 AM BST, Euro Zone - PMI Data for April:

  • HCOB Eurozone Composite PMI: forecast 51.4; previous 50.3;
  • HCOB Eurozone Services PMI: forecast 52.9; previous 51.5;
