Economic calendar: Canadian Employment Figures and Ecofin Council Meeting

• Second day of the Eurogroup and Ecofin meeting
• Canadian employment figures expected to rebound in June

There is not much data scheduled for release today. At the meeting of ministers for economic and financial affairs (Ecofin), the German Presidency will outline its priorities in the area of economic and financial affairs. Response to and recovery from the COVID-19 crisis will be the priority of the German Presidency. Ministers will exchange views on measures to bring the capital markets union (CMU) forward, in particular with a view to overcoming the economic consequences of the COVID-19 crisis.

Canada employment change and unemployment rate will be the key release of the US session. Apart from that investors will get to know US Producer Price Index figures for June.
