Economic calendar: Canadian labor market data; PepsiCo earnings

Volatility in APAC markets today was limited due to the upcoming Lunar New Year celebrations. Trading in mainland China was halted today, while indices in Australia and Japan traded marginally higher. European futures point to a flat opening of the trading session on the Old Continent.

In Europe, Hermes, among others, has already presented its quarterly results

Hermes 4Q23 results:

- Revenues €3.36 billion (expected €3.29 billion)

- Sales at constant exchange rates +17.5% (estimate +13.7%)

Highlights of the day include: Canadian labour market data, ECB Nagel speech and FED Logan speech. The calendar will conclude with quarterly reports from PepsiCo, among others.
