Italy plans to ease lockdown, Spain and UK mull decision

US GDP report to be released later in the week
While an empty macro calendar is often the case for Mondays, there is just one reading scheduled for release today - Dallas Fed manufacturing index for April (3:30 pm BST). However, it should not have much of an impact on the markets. More interesting data will be released in the later part of the week, including the US Q1 GDP report (Wednesday, 1:30 pm BST). Investors will likely focus on lockdown-easing news after Italy announced it will start reopening the economy from early-May. Similar decisions are expected from Spain and the United Kingdom this week. Spain will likely decide during a cabinet meeting tomorrow. Keep in mind that this week will be a bit shorter on some markets as Labour Day holiday will be held on Friday in many countries.
