Economic calendar: Earnings from Twitter and Intel

Global stock markets are trading mixed on Thursday. After a downbeat session in Asian, European stock markets are seen opening either flat or slightly higher. Rising China-US tensions are the main reason behind deteriorating moods and the issue should be watched closely. Apart from that, investors will be offered a US jobless claims report and CBRT rate decision.

1:30 pm BST - US, initial jobless claims. Expected 1300k. Previous: 1300k

3:30 pm BST - EIA natural gas storage. Expected: 35.9 bcf. Previous: 45 bcf
