Economic calendar: EIA report and speeches from central bankers

  • Central Bankers speeches
  • EIA Crude Oil stockpiles report

Economic calendar for Wednesday is almost empty. MBA Mortgage Applications data from the US is the only noticeable print scheduled for release but it should not have much of an impact on prices. Oil traders should stay on guard in the afternoon as the EIA will release a report on oil inventories. Due to lack of significant data, investors can expected today's trading to be driven by news as well as speeches from central bankers (i.e. BoC Lane at 6:00 pm BST).

12:00 pm BST - US, MBA Mortgage Applications. Previous 1.2%

3:30 pm BST - Crude Oil Inventories. Expected -1.279 M. Previous 1.321 M

3:00 pm BST - FOMC Member Quarles

6:00 pm BST - BoC Gov Council Member Lane
