Economic calendar: Manufacturing ISM, PMI revisions

Futures markets point to a higher opening of the European cash session today, following an upbeat trading in Asia. Economic calendar is light today with most readings being non-impactful revisions of July PMI data. Manufacturing ISM index for July will be released at 3:00 pm BST. This is the only major release and may create some buzz in the otherwise quiet day. When it comes to earnings, investors will be offered a report from video game developer Take-Two Interactive (TTWO.US) after the Wall Street session close.

8:15 am BST - Spain, manufacturing PMI for July. Expected: 60.9. PRevious: 60.4

8:45 am BST - Italy, manufacturing PMI for July. Expected: 62.0. Previous: 62.7

8:50 am BST - France, manufacturing PMI for July (final). First release: 58.1

8:55 am BST - Germany, manufacturing PMI for July (final). First release: 65.6

9:00 am BST - Euro area, manufacturing PMI for July (final). First release: 62.6

9:30 am BST - UK, manufacturing PMI for July (final). First release: 60.4

2:45 pm BST - US, manufacturing PMI for July (final). First release: 63.1

3:00 pm BST - US, ISM manufacturing for July. Expected: 60.8. PRevious: 60.6
