Nikola, Lyft and Alibaba to report earnings
Futures markets point to a flat opening of the European session, following a weak performance of equities during the Asian session. Economic calendar for the day ahead is light with just two noteworthy releases scheduled. US factory orders data for June will be released at 3:00 pm BST while API report on oil stockpiles will be published at 9:40 pm BST. While the latter tends to have some impact on oil prices, the former has rarely triggered a market move.
A number of interesting earnings reports will be released today. Among companies publishing results today one can find Activision Blizzard, Alibaba, Lyft, Discovery or Nikola.
10:00 am BST - Euro area, PPI inflation for June. Expected. 1.4% MoM. Previous: 1.3% MoM
