Canadian CPI data to be released at 1:30 pm BST
Futures markets point to a slightly lower opening of today's cash session. Day ahead looks calm in terms of scheduled data releases. Oil traders will be offered a DOE report at 3:30 pm BST that is expected to show a drop in energy inventories. Note that yesterday's API report showed a bigger-than-expected drop in oil inventories. CAD may get a chance to move in the early afternoon when Canadian CPI data is released at 1:30 pm BST. Last but not least, traders will be offered speeches from central bankers, including BoJ Governor Kuroda
