Earnings reports from Pfizer, Activision Blizzard
European stock markets are set for a slightly lower opening today, following a bearish trading in Asia. However, current futures quotes suggest that most blue chips indices from Europe will open 0.1-0.2% off yesterday's closing prices. Australian dollar underperformed on the FX market after the RBA decided to drop a target on 2024 government bond. Precious metals trade mixed, industrial metals drop and energy commodities advance.
While there is some data scheduled for release today, neither of those readings can be seen as top tier. Revisions to October manufacturing PMIs will be announced throughout the morning session. The only reading scheduled for the US trading season is API report on oil inventories, that may trigger some volatility on the oil market. Among top earnings reports scheduled for today one can find a report from Pfizer (PFE.US).
