Earnings reports from Rivian Automotive and Beyond Meat
Futures markets point to a more or less flat opening of the European cash session today. Early results of US midterms elections suggest that Democrats will retain control over the Senate while Republicans will get a grip over the House of Representatives. However, it should be noted that those are still early results and final ones may differ. Nevertheless, as split power in Congress was an expected outcome, we did not observe any major market moves on indices or the US dollar. Elections-related headlines may cause some volatility today but it will mostly be in case they show a shift away from the expected outcome, like Republicans winning Senate or Democrats winning House.
When it comes to macro releases, there are no top-tier reports scheduled for release today. Economic calendar for the European session is empty while US session will see release of wholesale inventories data and DOE report on oil inventories. Among today's earnings reporters one can find Beyond Meat and Rivian Automotive
