Futures markets point to a flat opening for major European blue chips indices today. US futures trade flat, highlighting that uncertainty is not related only to European investors. The day ahead is packed with economic release but, unfortunately, the majority of those will be revisions to March PMI data and therefore are unlikely to trigger any bigger moves on the markets. US non-manufacturing ISM release at 3:00 pm BST may result in some short-term volatility.
Looking outside the economic calendar, European leaders are preparing another sanction package for Russia. It is said that it may be put under vote as soon as tomorrow therefore it looks likely that some details of planned moves will surface today so traders should keep on guard.
