Economic calendar: The final trading session of 2020

  • US jobless claims
  • German and Italy markets are shut  for holidays

Economic calendar is light on the final trading day of 2020, with investors largely in the holiday mood. US Unemployment Claims is the only noteworthy event scheduled. Liquidity conditions will be thinner today as German and Italian markets are closed for the holidays. The French markets are open but scheduled for an early close. However, further news regarding US stimulus could trigger a spike in volatility.
