Global markets are rallying on upbeat vaccine news from Novovax. US500 is trading above 3,000 pts mark for the first time since early-March while DE30 jumped above 11,500 pts. US and UK traders return to the market from holiday today. Economic calendar is quite light with CB consumer confidence being the only noteworthy reading scheduled for release. CAD traders may want to tune in to testimony of BoC Governor Poloz before the Senate Committee as it will be his last public appearance ahead of the next decision meeting. There are no noteworthy earnings releases scheduled for today.
