Donald Trump delivered a speech to supporters on Wednesday morning where he addressed Election Night. He said that it looks clear that he won Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Neither of these states had a winner called so far as vote counting is still ongoing. While this may be just regular political talk, markets reacted to Trump's comments on the validity of elections. Trump once again said that mail-in ballots are fraud on the American Public and that his campaign will go to the Supreme Court. Markets saw this as an announcement of a contested election and triggered a sell-off on equity futures markets. S&P 500 futures are trading over 30 points below yesterday's close while DAX futures point to an over 200 points drop at cash session open.
