Equity markets surge ahead of key G7 call

Global stock markets are in risk-on mode with German DAX gaining over 2% today. Investors hope that G7 finance ministers and central bankers agree on a coordinated action to support the economy during today’s call. The call is expected to start at 12:00 pm GMT and it can be a major market mover, especially in case it fails to meet markets’ expectations.
