European stock markets jump after Easter break

European investors returned from Easter break in upbeat moods causing stocks from the region to jump on Tuesday. Improvement in coronavirus data played its toll. DAX gains over 1.3% and trades near 10,700 pts. Traders should keep in mind that Q1 2020 earnings season begins on Wall Street today. Reports from JPMorgan (JPM.US) and Wells Fargo (WFC.US) are scheduled for release before the US session opens.

DE30 made a strong upward move following a break above 10,000 pts. The index opened higher today but made a small pullback after the launch of European cash session. Source: xStation5
