European stocks launch week with minor gains

Solid gains enjoyed by Chinese equities today led to a higher opening in Europe. Indices from the Old Continent trimmed gains in the first hour of the cash session but still trade above the flatline. DE30 painted a fresh intraday all-time high of 13804 pts. Investors should keep in mind that liquidity is likely to be thinner in the afternoon as traders from Canada and the US take a day off.
