UK Brexit secretary decided to step down writing on Twitter that he “cannot in good conscience support the terms proposed for our deal”. His decision dropped like a bolt out of the blue implying that PM Theresa May has lost her supporter in Brexit negotiations. The GBPUSD moved down immediately erasing all gains it made earlier this week.
