As the Friday deadline for punitive tariffs on the Chinese imports nears markets seem to be at the brink of panic amid zero positive news regarding trade negotiations. The Chinese delegation is in the US for the “last chance” talks but so far there is nothing to suggest the tariffs increase could be postponed. As a consequence US500 drops to the lowest level since March, DE30 breaks 12k and ITA40 suffers a 2% loss to trade at 20400 points.
