An, almost, full-sclae war on Ukraine has came to reality. Putin declared during an overnight speech that he has ordered a special military operation in Ukraine in order to demilitarize the country. Putin said that clashes between Russian and Ukrainian forces cannot be avoided now.

First media reports say about rocket missiles launched against military targets in Kyiv, Odessa, Mariupol and Kharkiv. Unconfirmed reports from CNN say that Russian tanks and infantry has entered Ukraine from Crimea. Ukraine declared martial law. Citizens of Kyiv are advised to go to air-raid shelters. Ukraine has been cut off from energy supplies from Belarus and Russia.

Markets are in panic mode. Brent tested $100 per barrel area. Gold trades at the year-to-date high. DAX dropped to the 14,000 pts area.
