Traders eagerly await key Fed decision

The Federal Reserve are set to announce their latest policy decision on Wednesday evening (7PM BST) in what could well be not only the biggest event of the week for the markets, but quite possibly for the whole month of June. A slowing global economy and the recent weak employment data have raised expectations that the US central bank could be set to cut rates for the first time in over a decade.

 

The US dollar, stock indices and Gold can all be highly sensitive to Fed decisions.
