USD gains as NFP release looms

US dollar gains ahead of the NFP report release scheduled at 1:30 pm BST. Focus will be mostly on the wage growth data and it is expected to show a deceleration to 2.8% YoY after last month’s unexpected surge to 2.9% YoY. USD is one of the best performing G10 currencies today. Canadian counterpart report will be released simultaneously to the US report. At 12:11 pm BST EURUSD trades at 1.1502 (-0.11%).
