- 1-year inflation expectations: Currently: 3.3% previously 4.2%
- 5-year inflation expectations: Current: 3% previously 3.1%
Inflation expectations in US came are now on lowest level since 2021. The reading is very good for bulls because consumers are still strong and expecting better conditions but in the same situation inflation expectations are lower. Bulls see this as a sign of still possible 'soft-landing' scenario for US economy. US500 rebounds after UoM data.
