BREAKING: Inflation in Canada surprises to the downside! USDCAD gains slightly

Canada, inflation data for May:

CPI core: currently: 3.7% YoY. Expected 3.9% YoY, previously 4.1% YoY
CPI: currently: 3.4% YoY. Expected 3.4% YoY, previously 4.4% YoY

The BoC recently decided to raise interest rates, which was related to a rebound in inflation figures for April. However, we are now seeing a drop to a very low level.
