BREAKING: US consumer sentiment slightly below forecasts

The University of Michigan's final consumer sentiment for the US increased to 82.9 in May from a preliminary of 82.8 and compared with market expectations of 83.0. Current conditions 89.4 vs 90.8 prelim. Expectations 78.8 vs 77.6 prelim

Inflation expectations for the year came in line with market estimates of 4.6%,  while the 5-year outlook increased to 3%.

EURUSD  rose slightly after today's data releases and is heading towards resistance level at 1.2183. Source:xStation5
