US jobless claims figures have just been released. The data turned out to be worse-than-expected as the headline number stood at 373k, above previous 371k (revised from 364k) and above the consensus estimate as well. Therefore, the recovery of the US labour market seems to be stalling now as US jobless claims have been swinging near 370-420k range in recent weeks.
